Progress report, PhD agreement
You present your results to your PhD committee at least once a year. The PhD committee performs an evaluation of the accomplishments and define the future steps. The resulting annual progress report will illustrate the status of your PhD to the Board of Graduate Studies (Promotionsausschuss) of the Medical Faculty. The secretary of the Medical Deanship expects the progress reports two weeks before the meeting of the Board of Graduate Studies. (Progress Report Sample PDF, Word file)
When you started your PhD in spring 2010 or later you define the general conditions of the PhD studies with your PhD committee in terms of a PhD agreement (Doktoratsvereinbarung). The PhD agreement should be updated annually. (Form for PhD agreement)
