Dean Eva Scheurer's favorite place in Basel
The University of Basel traditionally asks all deans about their favorite place in Basel in front of the camera - and it's always on the very site. As Primo Schär's successor, this pleasure has now also been bestowed on the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Eva Scheurer.

If you go through the videos of the deans' favorite places, you will embark on a rather enjoyable tour of the city: The Dean of the Faculty of Theology Andrea Bieler votes for the Kunstmuseum, the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics Alois Stutzer for Münsterplatz, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Martin Lengwiler likes being at Rheinsprung, the former Dean of the Faculty of Psychology Jens Gaab at Petersplatz (his successor Rainer Greifeneder has not yet been interviewed), the Dean of the Faculty of Law Wolfgang Wohlers has opted – of all places – for the Faculty of Law's departmental library, and the Dean of the Faculty of Science Marcel Mayor for the Thomasturm at St. Johanns-Tor. And it’s worth mentioning that Scheurer's predecessor Primo Schär likes to spend his time in the cafeteria of the Kollegienhaus.
