Gentler cell therapies for blood cancer
Researchers at the Department of Biomedicine at the Faculty of Medicine have developed an approach to shut down a blood system suffering from leukemia and simultaneously boost a healthy one, in much the same way as a disc jockey subtly transitions from one song to another. In the journal Nature, the team reports promising results in animal experiments and with human cells in the laboratory.
