Tobias Derfuss and Jens Kuhle Professors of Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis

The University Council has appointed Tobias Derfuss and Jens Kuhle as Professors of Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis at the Faculty of Medicine. The professorships will be shared between the two doctors.
Prof. Dr. Tobias Johannes Derfuss and Prof. Dr. Dr. Jens Kuhle will share the clinical professorship of neuroimmunology with tenure at the USB from 1 March 2025. Derfuss has been Deputy Head of the Neurology Clinic there since January 2023. Kuhle is currently head of the Multiple Sclerosis Center and the Neuroimmunology Unit at the USB. He is also Research Group Leader for Clinical Neuroimmunology and Deputy CEO of the RC2NB.
